Our Backstory
The Polarose Values
Founded by Terrell Rose, a second-generation filmmaker, Polarose Productions benefits from a long legacy of film and photography experience.
Terrell began working alongside his father and cousin at the age of 9, absorbing industry knowledge and honing in on his craft. By 15, he not only produced and directed a documentary for Stormzy, but also offered photography, video work, and services, and built a name for himself as a music producer.
As his reputation grew, and with over a decade's worth of practical experience, combined with 6 years spent studying film and media, alongside a qualification in engineering, he started educating and mentoring others, forming a team of like-minded individuals who shared his passion for creativity.
This team, coupled with Terrell’s growing influence, led to the creation of Polarose Productions, shifting from operating under his name to creating a company with a vision of inclusivity and professional excellence.
